Hey all,
I have received my Visa this morning and I am all set to head to South Africa for one year. I leave September 30. I'll land in Cape Town and spend two weeks visiting there before heading on to Durban where I'll be working with Thuli Dumakude, Founder and President of Thembalethu for the year.
Thuli will have me assisting with Thembalethu, as well as adding technology aspects to her business and teaching at the school she supports.
I'm not sure what kind of communication access I'll have available so this blog will be my primary way of keeping people in the loop until I figure out the best way to stay in touch.

You, Dad,Mom, Sisters Brothers,nephews and cousins will be in my daily prayers. WOW, the "day" is almost here! It went very slow for a while but now I'm afraid to blink and miss you.
